Situation:When I connect my Google Pixel 4A smartphone to present what is on my phone screen onto my Dell Lattitude E6420 laptop monitor, nothing happens. The light on the HDMI C side of the adapter is on.  I had the HDMI cord plugged into the HDMI input on the adapter and the other side plugged into the HDMI input of the laptop. I have tried multiple times but nothing happens on either device.

Device 1 - Google Pixel 4A

Device 2 - Dell Latitude E6420

-

Answer - [ Troubleshooting]

For model Pixel 4A, unfortunately does not support USB-C to HDMI.

The Pixel USB-C port is NOT video-enabled.

That’s the reason why nothing happens on either device.

---------

Answer - [ Troubleshooting]

When considering whether the adapter can be used by our device, we need to check whether the port of our main device (i.e. the phone, computer) is supported. Unfortunately, the device and the adapter cannot be adapted.

The device Moto g play 2021 is only compatible with USB Type-C 2.0.

This USB-C to HDMI adapter ONLY works for USB-C 3.1 or above which supplies video output or has DP Alt Mode.

-

*To be mentions,  the ONLY sets that support this are the g200, edge20 Pro, edge20, edge 2021 USA.

(for WIRED or wireless connection of phone to a monitor/TV)

The edge20 Lite, edge+, edge, g100 support phone to PC only.

I bought usb-c to HDMI cable (4K@60Hz). Every time I plugged it into my Kindle fire 10 HD it said there was moisture damage and shut down the port. I did many experiments too long to list here. There was no moisture damage to the Kindle so either the cord had damage .

Can anyone help me?

Hi, we are so sorry for the unpleasant shopping experience.

Whether the device and the cable/hub support normal use needs to ensure the compatibility of the interface.

The device Fire HD 10 only compatible with USB 2.0. This USB-C to HDMI cable ONLY works for USB-C w/ DP Alt Mode

Unfortunately, the device and the cable cannot be adapted.
